Life Safety Industry News - New Belimo Remote BACnet® Life Safety Damper Testing Module (FSKN)
The International Fire Code, as well as local fire codes, require that fire smoke/dampers be maintained in accordance with NFPA Standards 80 and 105. The Belimo FSKN allows building owners to easily comply with these standards that require smoke and combination fire smoke dampers to be periodically tested to confirm they will operate properly during a fire event. This innovative device monitors the damper position and connects seamlessly to the Building Automation System or fire alarm panel, communicating via BACnet® or Modbus.
