Greenheck Secures New High Wind Certifications for Florida Projects
At Stan Weaver & Co., we’re committed to keeping our clients up to date with the latest developments from the manufacturers we proudly represent. Greenheck, a long-trusted name in HVAC innovation, has recently achieved a major milestone that’s especially relevant for projects across Florida.
Greenheck’s new mixed flow wheel products KSQ, RSQ including an industry first SQ Outdoor are now officially listed with Miami-Dade NOAs and Florida Product Approvals—meeting the state’s most stringent high-wind standards. These models—including the SQ with ducted horizontal base mount, RSQ hooded rooftop supply and exhaust, and KSQ untempered filtered supply fan—feature mixed-flow technology, delivering enhanced durability, efficiency, and performance for coastal and high-wind applications.
What’s New?
Here are the new models and their pressure ratings:
These high PSF ratings translate to major project benefits, including:
2.25x the wind load capacity of our RSF filtered rooftop supply fan and R-Series hooded rooftop propeller fans
20 psf higher ratings than comparable competitor products
Enhanced durability for hurricane-prone environments
Product Highlights
KSQ: A filtered, untempered supply fan—ideal for kitchen make-up air—ships fully assembled to simplify installation.
RSQ: A fabra hood-style ventilator reimagined for high-performance demands, now without internal support structures or excess fasteners.
